The Beginning of Bella Lux Brand!
I woke up on my 30 th Birthday in tears. My life was bland. I wasn’t in my career, I wasn’t happily married to a handsome successful man. No mini-me, not even a dog. All the things my mom told me I should have. All of the things I wanted was non-existent and I saw no sign of it coming anytime soon. I paid bills on time, always taking care of responsibilities first, then fun after. This typically led to no fun at all. I realized that this was just how I was raised. I was absolutely ready for a big change. This was the first time in life I was ready to put "ME" first. I started to live life on my own terms. Now I just needed to know what makes ME happy. What am I good at?
In 2009 I graduated from Esthetician School and things started to make sense…
This opened me up to something new. As much as I loved getting dressed and doing my hair, I was never into make up or skin care. Chyle, give me some Dove soap, Epsom salt bath soak and bubble bath… that is all I needed to feel good. I found my passion at Esthetician School. I love making people feel good! This started the plan for my Empire. I started with facials and then incorporated massages and waxing.
This was my “Side Hustle”.
Fast forward to March, 2022
In my career. I was loved and admired for my work ethic and all that I do. It felt good to be seen and requested. I finally got a promotion at work, making more money than I ever have, but I still wasn’t happy. I just couldn’t get into my new role. At a time when I should feel like I’m on top of the world, I was miserable. My relationship was rocky, then my favorite man (Grandpa) passed away.
9/14/2022, I had an accident that would change my life forever
Today I am grateful for this day but for a while I felt like, Why me? Why do I bother? I was depressed. God removed me from the old, to set me up for the new. He gave me the strength to build Bella Lux Brand with 1 arm.
There was a paradigm shift in my life and out of the ashes evolved a brand.
I had no idea that life would lead to this.
